A heated exchange between golfer Padraig Harrington and veteran NBC reporter Roger Maltbie has become a significant talking point at the U.S. Senior Open. The dispute, captured on video, centers on Maltbie's role during a search for Harrington's lost ball in the opening round.
The confrontation was recorded by a local TV reporter near the scoring area. In the footage, Harrington is seen expressing his frustration to Maltbie over what he perceived as a breach of golf etiquette. "Never on a golf course stand and look at somebody looking for a golf ball," Harrington stated. "You've played golf all your life. You understand."
