The group stage of the Club World Cup concluded with significant attendance shortfalls, as over one million seats remained empty across the 48 matches. The low turnout is a notable point of concern just one year before the United States is set to host the 2026 World Cup.
Throughout the initial tournament phase, stadiums were filled to approximately 56.7% of their publicly listed capacity. The total announced attendance reached 1.67 million out of a potential 2.95 million, averaging 34,746 fans per game. Some matches saw particularly low numbers, including crowds of just 3,412 and 6,730 in Orlando, Florida, and 5,282 and 8,239 in Cincinnati. FIFA did not provide specific capacity figures for the tournament despite repeated requests.
