Shakib Al Hasan makes history, achieves first-ever feat in T20 cricket

Bangladesh cricket legend Shakib Al Hasan achieved a historic milestone in T20 cricket during the 2025 Caribbean Premier League match at Sir Viv Richards Stadium in Antigua, becoming the first player to complete the rare double of 500+ wickets and 7000+ runs in the format. Andre Russell follows with 487 wickets and 9,361 runs, while Kieron Pollard has 332 wickets and 13,981 runs.
